Manic Monday 30th
The reunion of the couples with their respective partners last night sent sparks flying all around the Indecent Proposal window last night. Declarations of undying desire and love for one another were followed by shock undercover antics by Alan and Siobhan around 2am. A thud of jaws hitting the floor could be heard all across the region when Alan decided 'enough was enough' and quietly popped the question to Siobhan in the privacy of their undercover love hut.
However, the all seeing all hearing i102104 crew picked up on the goings-on straight away. Always one for a good gossip Louise McSharry from iWake Up with the help of Fergal D'Arcy and Dave Alsybury interrogated the pair after an early wake up call this morning. After much denial, panic and cheeky grins the secret was out and quickly spread to the ears of the eagerly awaiting i-land listeners.
iWork with Josh provided another emotional whirlwind among the couples in the form of the Eviction of two couples. Torn in the bitter-sweet debate for the want of a shower over €30,000 in prizes Room B were first to hear their fate. Evan and Jessica were pitted against Derek and Daneka. The sense of relief from Derek was obvious when he punched the air on hearing he was leaving. Derek and Daneka, the first couple to be evicted packed their bags and kissed goodbye to the Indecent Proposal Windows forever.
Over to room 2 then with Louise McSharry and Dave Alsybury where the tension was palpable. in a cruel twist Louise hyped the drama even more by cutting to an ad break in the middle of revealing the couples fate. Huddled on the couch, clinging to each other neither couple wanted to be booted out. Trevor and Karey were gutted to realise they were the next to go, happy to have experienced life in the indecent Proposal they had no regrets about signing their life away for the few days.
Now that we finally had our final two couples the i102104 crew decided to let their creative and somewhat devious side out with today’s Indecent Proposal. Armed with baby oil and cling film Dave O’Connor greased the boys up and strapped them together in the spooning position! Alan Stole the floor show modeling his donkey head thong once again. Meanwhile the girls, stripped down to sponge-bob square pants panties were oiled up and strapped together in similar fashion. With the threat of failure and the reward of points hanging over them the claws were soon out. Fergal D’Arcy and Peter Ganley made the situation sticky by adding ice-cream, snickers bar and feathers to the couple's body heat.
The stickiness, numbness and increasing heat weren’t enough to deter the couples. After almost 5 hours covered from head to toe in cling film the kind hearted lads of iGo Home decided to let them free. With the reward of a well needed shower up for grabs the couples had to perform party pieces to earn their scrub-a-dub-dub!!
Will there be more antic tonight behind the Indecent Proposal windows? Why not pop down and have a gawk…….. maybe the donkey faced thong will be out in force again!!
